As a Senior Android Engineer, you will help us

improve our customized ExoPlayer (Yes! We customize the player ourselves!)
make sure our CI/CD works all the time
improve app performance, stability, and resource efficiency across a wide range of devices
grow our user base and increase user interaction within the app
tinker with the latest development of Jetpack Compose and implement it in production
migrate our code base to KMM (Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile)
integrate with TV Partners (We have integrated with dozens of TV Partners and more in the pipeline)
build and maintain secure Android applications and protect user data and application resources

We are looking for people who

deliver code that sets the standard for quality and maintainability
can write code that is clear, concise, well abstracted, and easily understood by others
can provide highly insightful and comprehensive code reviews
are fluent in Kotlin and Kotlin Coroutines
have solid experience with asynchronous programming and concurrency using Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
has solid understanding of Android technology and ecosystem, Design Pattern, SOLID principles and the concept of Clean Architecture
have solid understanding of Data Structure and Algorithms
understand Android application performance, including profiling, memory management, CPU usage, rendering, startup time, and network efficiency
understand mobile application security best practices, including secure data storage, authentication, authorization, API security, and protection against common Android security threats
familiar with agentic development and loop engineering, not just shipping out AI generated code blindly
know how to write Unit Tests and UI Tests
have published app(s) to Google Play
